Conservation Biology

Conservation Biology is a course that covers a broad range of topics, but all geared toward protecting Earth's imperiled biodiversity in some way. Topics include biodiversity and its threats, conservation genetics, ecosystem function, habitat fragmentation and loss, restoration, species invasions, etc. For graduate credit, students will be assigned to choose a topic of conservation concern that currently lacks a well-developed Wikipedia page, and contribute to that in lieu of a research paper (that only the instructor sees), so that perhaps we contribute a little more to public education about such topics.
