ENGW3307 Adv Writing for the Sciences

In our sections of ENGW3307 Advanced Writing in the Sciences students will write in their field as they would outside the university — for other researchers and scholars, in professional settings, and for public audiences. By writing for Wikipedia — writing in an objective, approachable way using credible, third-party sources and meeting the standards of the Wikipedia community — students across the sciences practice collaborating in writing with a worldwide, purpose-driven community. Students also use their writing skills and access to scholarly sources to improve public access to science and technology. This term, our course will operate a little differently. All of my ENGW3307 sections will enroll in a single WikiEd course. This way, you'll be collaborating with NU peers who are in ENGW3307 this semester, but who might not be in your home section of the course.
