SW 3402H

This is the second course in the BSSW program sequence preparing students to effectively work with research evidence and statistics as it applies to social work interventions at multiple levels. Through this course students will develop the requisite skills and knowledge for beginning to identify, assess, and apply research evidence to inform and evaluate social work practices at multiple levels of intervention (individual, family, groups, organizations, and communities). The methodologies under review include qualitative, quantitative, mixed, and community-engaged methods to gathering and analyzing evidence. Students will be introduced to statistical methods for analyzing data and reports concerning social work interventions.
