Pathophysiology of Disease

Wiki editing is a new project type available to students enrolled in the Pathophysiology of Disease elective. For this project, students will choose a Wiki Medicine article of interest that needs improvement, and then edit it following Wiki Medicine standards. Wiki Ed Training modules, which will explain the process in detail, must be completed first, and then the editing may begin. Through this project you will learn how to choose appropriate references for a Wiki article and how to communicate medical information to the lay public, a skill that is essential for physicians communicating with their patients. You will also be providing a great service to the public by improving the quality of the medical information within Wikipedia. Happy editing!
