Honors Introduction to Environmental Sciences

ENVS 1127 will cover the fundamental principles of environmental sciences, interdependence of organisms and the human element in environmental issues, stewardship and sustainability.

Publishing factual material in Wikipedia is strongly encouraged in this course. Students gain substantial credit towards their grade in the course if they publish. Students are required to develop a project relevant to today's world in the fields of environmental science. Students may be able to publish some or all of the findings from their projects in Wikipedia. However, students are also welcome to add important factual material to existing Wikipedia pages as well.
